Awareness and Outreach Programs

One of the main objectives of CoE at CED is to function as a Knowledge Centre and Technical Support Unit in the area of waste management. CED has developed a Knowledge Portal to provide support and significant technical information in the area of solid waste and wastewater management. The hosting of the portal ‘www.indiawastemanagementportal.org’ as part of CoE’s activities has been a major step of CED towards extending support to ULBs enabling them to create clean and  green cities through access to knowledge and information on technology options, capacity building, awareness generation and reference literature etc. As a user friendly platform, the waste management portal is a place where all information, reports and bulletins are available and easily accessible.
